Our customers’ shops contain between 50 and 2,500 articles. 60 percent of the product range consists of advertising articles that are available in only one version, with no variations in size or colour, and without a price scale. Key rings, calculators or mugs, for example, are structurally simple and therefore hardly prone to errors in shop maintenance. With a user-friendly tool, even occasional users of the socoto System can add these advertising materials.

That is exactly why we developed simplified Shop Article Management. It allows interns, trainees, working students or others who only work with the system temporarily or occasionally to add advertising materials to the shop quickly and without errors.

This is how simplified Shop Article Management works

Anyone creating a new shop article is guided through the process step by step. The system only shows the fields that are relevant and hides everything else. At the beginning, the maintenance person selects three options: the language, the article type (e.g. aftersales, retail equipment) and the visibility. Based on these selections, a clear form opens that is customised precisely to this article type.

Existing shop articles can be used as templates – this saves time and ensures consistency. The result: fewer queries, fewer errors, and less correction work. This frees up the marketing team to focus on tasks that really require expertise.

Suitable for everyday use, even without system expertise

Simple tasks must also be easy to implement in the MMS. So, if you want to create articles without configuration options, you don’t need system training – you need an interface that guides you safely to your goal. This reduces the workload on marketing teams, provides junior staff with valuable tasks and ensures that the shop remains up to date.
