Structural innovations at the 13th Content Management Day
The high-performance system architecture is at the core of our CMS 5.0. Our aim is to reduce the complexity of the application and make it even easier to use. The prerequisite is the separation of frontend and backend, i.e. interface and logic. If the two modules are less intertwined yet communicate seamlessly with one another, the system becomes more robust, faster, easier to scale and even more user-friendly.
Also new: our DAM
At the same time, we are developing a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system that goes far beyond pure media management. It includes versioning, manages approvals and rights and controls the use of media in the marketing process. In short: while our MAM organises assets, our new, centrally-managed DAM ensures that media is used correctly and consistently in marketing. This transforms pure media management into a system that actively intervenes in content processes and stabilises them.
Structure makes you more productive
In addition to these fundamental innovations, operational implementation was a recurring topic at the Content Management Day – whether in relation to the new features presented around AI, Social Media and Wallets, or to complex tasks such as Shop Article Management.
The insight: extensive to-dos need clearly defined workflows and guided input. This reduces errors, speeds up processes and ensures consistent results. That’s why we at socoto are currently focusing particularly on the structure of our system. We know what it can do. But at the same time, we want to ensure that our customers’ teams can work with it as productively as possible.
