BVDA extends Advertizor to include booking units in daily newspapers

Brochures and advertisements in local print media are essential building blocks in regional media planning. In cooperation with socoto, the BVDA (Bundesverband Deutscher Anzeigenblätter e.V.) offers media planners a media planning tool that maps booking units in the entire advertising journal market. The BVDA has now added regional daily newspapers to the media inventory in the planning tool Advertizor, thereby increasing the tool's value for regional media planning.

"Up-to-dateness, profound knowledge of publishing house and occupancy structures and high data quality are unique in this form and an important foundation of the Advertizor", says BVDA managing director Sebastian Schaeffer. Ten years ago socoto, as system partner of the BVDA, developed the Advertizor as a platform for the efficient planning of advertising and insert campaigns in advertising journals. Since then the tool has been constantly expanded, updated and adapted to the needs of users from agencies and publishing houses.

The last relaunch has once again significantly expanded the functionalities: In addition to the advertising journals with 4,000 booking units for ads and more than 40,000 booking units for inserts, the new PLUS version also integrates 323 regional subscription daily newspaper publishers with more than 1,570 booking units, as well as cross-genre combinations. All combinations can now be easily planned in the usual Advertizor standard and with all features. A modern map tool provides an interactive visualization of the planning with all advertising media. Advertizor also offers many helpful functions of a modern geographical information system, such as the GIS-supported definition of planning areas through drive-time or geocoding and the automatic tariff optimization.

For a more intensive engagement with planning and implementation workflows socoto customers can use the media planning tool in the marketing management system. More functionalities, media channels and booking units are available here. Even for companies with a decentralized sales structure the platform plays out target group-specific media or distribution proposals for regional sales partners without overlaps or double booking.
